3/9/08 at 8:30 p.m. witnesses reported that Marie Niemeic was westbound in the eastbound lanes of O'Maley Road between the Old Seward Highway and C street. The head on collision she caused with Ashley Goldman left Goldman seriously injured and Niemeic dead. Denise Zehrung crossed the center line of the Palmer/Wasilla highway at mile 6.5. The head-on collision she caused took her life, and sent the other driver to the hospital with serious injuries.
